The launch began with the welcome remarks from MCCI President Mr. Kamran T. Rahman, who highlighted the reportโs recommendations and stressed the importance of prioritizing action on the seven critical areas of economic challenge identified in the publication. Policy Exchange Bangladesh Chairman, Dr. M Masrur Reaz delivered the keynote presentation, emphasizing that the governmentโs first 100 days will be crucial for laying the foundation for recovery and long-term growth. He noted that initiating the reform process during this period would help restore investor confidence and revive the momentum of private sector-led growth. However, he also underscored that these multidimensional challenges cannot be addressed through isolated initiatives; rather, they require coordinated economic management and comprehensive reforms. Mr. Hossain Zillur Rahman, former adviser to the caretaker government and Executive Chairman of the Power and Participation Research Centre – PPRC, attended the event as the chief guest. Mr. Habibullah N Karim, Senior Vice President of MCCI, and former MCCI President Mr. M. Anis Ud Dowla, were also present at the launching ceromony.
